Insurance Coverage and Defence
Our firm has notable and exceptional experience with the defence and handling of first party insurance claims. We work with insurance companies to assess coverage in response to a claim, and if we are unable to find coverage, to handle any ensuing litigation accordingly.
Commercial General Liability, Bodily Injury and Property Damage
Reain Lui Stock LLP defends claims under CGL policies, including personal injury claims and occupier liability claims, property damage claims and construction claims.
Commercial Litigation

Defence of Professionals (E&O)
Our firm provides E&O defence work to several insurance companies, and we pride ourselves on our experience and results in this area.
Fraud
We frequently work with the Special Investigation Units for various insurers and commercial clients and assist them in their fraud investigation.
Subrogation
We also prosecute complex subrogated claims on behalf of our insurance clients. On occasion, we will also represent a Policyholder against non-client Insurers, at which time we will provide our clients the same opinion that we would provide the Insurer.

Environmental
Reain Lui Stock LLP acts on behalf of owners, engineers, contractors and insurers with respect to matters involving environmental claims.
Directors’ and Officers’ Liability
Our firm works with Insurers to resolve claims made under D&O insurance policies. Claims made include allegations of breach of common law duties, breach of duties owed to shareholders, and statutory liabilities imposed by federal or provincial laws.
