A versatile lawyer with a unique background, Michelle likes to think outside the box.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Michelle was a Registered Nurse on the frontlines of healthcare. Her prior work experience makes her well suited to personal injury matters. In addition, Michelle's ability to provide her clients with comprehensive analyses and distinctive approaches on complex legal matters has allowed her to expand her practice to encompass diverse areas of litigation, including product liability, environmental claims, professional liability, and commercial disputes. She has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario, as well as several tribunals, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Although Michelle has long traded in her hospital scrubs for court gowns, she maintains a connection to her healthcare roots. She remains a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario and volunteers at Kensington Gardens long-term care centre.
Outside work, Michelle is a longtime mediocre Muay Thai kickboxer and enjoys making failed attempts at stand-up comedy.
