Directors’ and Officers’ Liability

Our firm works with Insurers to resolve claims made under D&O insurance policies. Claims made include allegations of breach of common law duties, breach of duties owed to shareholders, and statutory liabilities imposed by federal or provincial laws.

The policies are to provides coverage for defence costs and damages arising out of wrongful act allegations and lawsuits brought against an organization’s board of directors and/or officers. We provide both coverage opinions with respect to the duty to defend, as well as we defend the Insureds in court proceedings.
