Christopher Reain

Christopher is an approachable and energetic commercial and insurance litigation lawyer.

Christopher is an approachable and energetic commercial and insurance litigation lawyer.  He has conducted numerous jury and non-jury trials and appeals before all levels of courts in Ontario and Alberta. He is called to the bars of both Ontario (2000) and Alberta (2011).

Christopher’s broad business litigation practice includes the areas of insurance, construction, professional liability and environmental matters. He is routinely retained on behalf of business and property owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and insurers to provide advice and guidance with respect to large, complex disputes.

As a former managing partner of the Toronto office of a multinational law firm, Christopher has developed a keen eye for the necessities of a retainer – from the appropriate staffing of a case, to the metrics of its results.  Christopher’s approach to matters involves him quickly and efficiently getting to the crux of a dispute, which allows for the development of creative and effective resolution strategies at an early stage.  When necessary, Christopher’s extensive advocacy experience allows him to effectively advocate his clients’ case at trials, arbitrations and other court proceedings.

When not resolving cases on behalf of his clients, Christopher enjoys being a Superdad to his three children. He is also an avid skier and guitarist who has played with several less-than-famous bands over the years.
